Interest Bearing Current Account

• No account opening charges
• Account maintenance charges - USD 75 per quarter
• UNLIMITED incoming and outgoing wire transfers (subject to charges)
• Availability of Online Banking Facility
• Quick remittance facility
• Can be opened in multiple currencies USD, EUR, GBP.
• Threshold above which interest will be paid USD 10,000/GBP 10,000/EURO 10,000 ( Threshold balance is subject to change with prior intimation to the client). Daily balances at EOD above threshold balance will earn the interest on daily basis.
• The interest will be paid on balance of over and above pre decided threshold. e.g. if threshold is USD 10,000, and balance is USD 25,000, then interest will be paid on USD15,000 for that day.

• SBI IBU will not deduct tax on interest payments on the current account balances.

• Waiver of Charges - 

  1) Account Maintenance charges will be waived if MAB (Monthly Average Balance) of 10,000/- is maintained in respective currencies.

  2) Outward remittance charges (which is USD 10 per transaction at present however Nostro charges are separate from these) of SBI IBU GIFT City will be waived if Minimum Monthly Average balance (MAB) of 25,000/- is maintained in respective currencies.
